At the Master of Science in Financial Mathematics (MSFM) program, we are addressing a rapidly changing industry by providing full-time students with an accelerated, five-quarter curriculum. Evening courses and flexible registration allow part-time students to progress at whatever speed fits their needs. Along the way, every student will develop relationships with our large alumni network, UChicago faculty, our industry partners, and dedicated career-development specialists.

A pioneer in its field, our Program offers accelerated, integrated coursework that explores the deep-rooted relationship that exists between theoretical and applied mathematics and the ever-evolving world of finance. Our mission is to equip our students with a solid foundation in mathematics, and in doing so provide them with practical knowledge that they can successfully apply to complicated financial models.
