With its varied range of core and electives, the Master’s degree programme offers students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in one or more areas of physics.

Particular value is placed on flexibility and learning through research within a research group. Elective courses include all major research areas such as solid-state physics, quantum electronics, theoretical physics, particle physics, astrophysics and medical physics. This gives you many opportunities to explore the boundaries of actual research.

You will then focus on your most favorite field and push beyond the edge of current knowledge during your Master thesis. The six-month Master’s thesis project may be conducted in the field of Experimental or Theoretical Physics.
