Immerse yourself in a program that surpasses a traditional MBA. Tailored for busy professionals, Brown’s master’s in technology leadership (MTL) program prepares you to lead at the intersection of technology management and innovation. The program offers a predominantly online learning experience with two residential sessions on Brown’s campus.
The rigorous curriculum, taught by accomplished practitioners and top-tier faculty at the School of Engineering, balances technical expertise with strong leadership training. You’ll be equipped with the skills to address complex global and industry-specific challenges in today’s dynamic technology landscape through strategic technology management, persuasive communication and collaborative innovation.
This program offers the following degree:
- Master of science (Sc.M.): Coursework and a capstone project
- Online and two residencies
During the program’s fall semester, you’ll engage in a capstone course called the Critical Challenge Project (CCP). Your capstone project will address a real-world business, social or organizational issue, and you’ll work to develop strategic solutions with faculty guidance. Projects often lead to significant outcomes like new products, patents, tech innovations, prototypes and improved decision-making tools.
