More than half of the world’s population now lives in cities with growing disparities, threat of climate change, and a continuing technology revolution. Given these big challenges and rapid changes, urban professionals are needed to create more livable and sustainable cities. In the USC Price School’s Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies and Planning, students will prepare themselves for a career in this urban world. They will create a platform for work in the profession of urban planning or associated fields related to developing, regulating, and designing that future world. The program requires 72 units toward the major and completion of the minimum of 128 units for the bachelor’s degree.
