专业介绍

The Oral Health Sciences Master’s program is 10 months in duration with 30 credits required. Students begin in the summer (mid-June) term and continue through the Winter term with a capstone project due at the end of the training. The program is intended to prepare a student for the following options:

  • to acquire skills and knowledge necessary for a competitive dental school application
  • to acquire skills and knowledge necessary for a competitive application to a PhD training program
  • to acquire skills and knowledge necessary for employment in a research laboratory in the field of oral health sciences and craniofacial research

Students will be able to choose from two different subplans:

  1. Course sub plan
  2. Research sub plan

The curriculum will have 4 main components:

  1. Core requirements
  2. Basic science requirements
  3. Electives
  4. Thesis/Capstone project
