Your undergraduate years are a time for creative and intellectual exploration. The Music Department offers many pathways through academic and performance courses that connect to your interests, whether you consider yourself a skilled musician or not. In fact, you can participate in all of our programs whether or not you major or minor in Music.

The Music Department cultivates an environment that:

• Brings together a close-knit community of students and faculty that support each others’ work and offers a favorable faculty-student ratio
