Program Overview The Master of Science in Health Behavior Research is for students pursuing the PhD in Science in Health Behavior Research program who have developed a comprehensive understanding of health behavior research through coursework but are not able or allowed to finish the doctoral degree. The master’s degree will prepare students for success in population and public health research careers that do not require a PhD. Students will develop expertise in the foundations of health behavior research, theories of health behavior and statistical analysis.  Curriculum The curriculum enables students to explore advanced topics in health behavior research and public health from a research perspective.
