The Government Department offers four optional programs that guide students in identifying courses that explore themes that cut across our traditional subfields: Data Science, Tech Science, Public Policy, and Political Economy.
Students who opt into one of these themed programs will take a collection of courses that tie together their coursework experience and be able to take advantage of co-curricular programming that supplements their coursework and connects them to other students who share their interests. Not only will these programs guide students in their curricular choices, but they will also provide a valuable signal that students have acquired a certain set of skills or training with their Government degree.
