NYU Stern’s Fintech MS executive program is designed for professionals looking to become leaders in the fintech space. This includes experienced finance professionals who are looking to understand the special challenges of digital transformation in their field, professionals with experience in data science and technology who are looking to deepen their understanding of the financial services industry, and fintech leaders who are looking to understand fintech industry trends. Our students work in the fintech industry or in a non-fintech industry in a fintech function.
The Fintech MS program provides domain knowledge in finance as well as an understanding of tech evolution and enabling technologies. It also focuses on technological transformation and financial functions critical to understanding the fintech space. In addition, students build leadership skills to successfully drive tech first businesses in finance.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will:
- Acquire fundamental strategic skills necessary for executive success in dynamic, technology-driven financial services businesses.
- Obtain specialized tactical knowledge critical to rapidly emerging interdisciplinary sub-fields in fintech such as platform strategy, regulation, and machine learning.
- Acquire a toolkit of methodologies and practices applicable to real world fintech issues.
- Develop their capacity to shape their organizations, and to behave ethically as the financial services industry automates.
- Become leaders in the Fintech field and join the NYU Fintech community, with access to continuing education and personal development based on NYU’s leading fintech research, fintech professional associations, and fintech events and seminars, key to the rapidly evolving fintech firms of the future.
