Designed for pianists or singers who wish to specialize in teaching choral or general music in elementary and secondary schools. Participation in choral or instrumental groups prior to application is recommended. Demonstration of performance competence in voice or piano is required for admission.

Dual Degree in Music Performance: The Dual Degree in Music Education and Performance is designed for those who wish to pursue additional performance studies while earning a bachelors degree in music education, and generally requires an additional year of study.
